The Man

Yesterday I met a man, A man who wasn't real, He felt and smelled and sounded so alive, But he wasn't real you see, He says he wants to stay, This man can never leave, Yesterday I met a man, Who's only real to me.

This short piece was very haunting. For me there are personal reasons to that- reasons that made me connect with the poem more than- or rather differently- than others might. It was something very short but very profound and scary. I would actually love it if you were to expand on it a little, give details to the man, make him come alive in the readers head so they too can see him, but know he can't be seen by someone else, either. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Rebecca
