A Man

You can call yourself a man

But one knows it takes more than “I can”

Despite a plan

He wouldn’t give a damn

Tempted by Satan

Hell is a burden

Whatever it takes, results are in action

Welcome to the world of a very special man

Dreams are worth the sacrifice

Glamorous- no, the process isn’t that nice

What you gotta do to get to that place

Seems so impossible to chase

You got competition- run that race

Outta breath, the finish line isn’t where they said it would be

Just when you thought you’d finally be free

Thought your efforts were going to be seen

Above and beyond is what it all means

How far will you go to get your green?

Are you a bastard or a man with a dream?

I just love music and writing. I am completely inspired by music and want to work in the music industry as an entrepreneur. I am from Portland, Or (south Washington) and am a dancer at heart where music and lyrics truly captivate my soul!
