Man
A thorn can poison him to death
Yet he thinks he's all-powerful.
A sting can paralyze him
Yet he thinks he's undethronable.
Why?An attack of microbes will leave him helpless
Yet he thinks he rules the world.
True!He does.
He can think
He can talk
He can feel
Those were the Creator's gifts to His most beloved.
But how did Man repay?
He hatched plans,to kill his own men.
He used his tongue only to hurt.
And,emotions?He forgot all about them.
He cleared forests-The sun charred him;
He littered and dumped-Tides drowned him;
He erected skyscrapers-Typhoons brought them down;
He poached and hunted-Droughts left him devastated.
Nevertheless,he thinks he's the mightiest of all!
Having abused all his privileges-ALL of them,
Drowned in an ocean of ignorance,
There,he stands-desparate...helpless...
Only when the last well dries up,
When the last animal is butchered,
When the last tree is felled,
Will man realize,that
Coins won't feed him.
Man is omnipotent,no doubt:
Vulnerable yet strong.
Barbaric yet divine.
Ridiculous yet blessed.
A minute of realization,
A life of transformation,Will lead him to Heaven-
Heaven on earth.
Then will he realize
How ignorant,how selfish,
How mindless he had been.
Never again will he go back
To those temporary pleasures,
Because he will,by then,know
That they don't even stand a chance
In front of the never-ceasing shelter of his Creator.
