A MAN

The first to be created in the likeness of the almighty

The stronger of the two sexes , and because to whom much is given much is expected

He shoulders greater responsibilities

He is the first mentor his son should have

He is a demy god in the eyes of his children, a romantic neighbour to his wife, a protective neighbour to his sister and a special neighbour to his mother

He is brave enough to face life issues for and with his family

He is charged with making tough decisions during tough situations for  and with his family

There are times his family members will agitate him with their attitude, he must display meekness

A man is believed to be strong and hardened, but he has his weakness

Which he must work on with God's influence

When I was a boy, I do make decisions

I was my only obligation

And didn't care much about others condition

But thanks to God, family and my woman

They transformed me from a boy to a man

They made me to understand that it's not all about me

Now I know that I am subjected to the greatest law

Which is to love

Our neighbour as ourself

And a man's closest neighbour is his wife

And if your wife is not yours, I doubt you are living an ideal life

Your first responsibility as a man is your wife

Giving honour to her all the days of your life

So that all your endeavors is not hindered but watered

By the love, blessings and prayers of your love are

The word man is not just a name you bear

You must be ,

The husband of your wife

The father of your children

The head of your family

All this you must become not as a title but as a responsibility

Before you are worthy of being called A MAN
