the man

In the dark and dreary night I sit alone on a bench

Nothing in my mind

Just sitting waiting for something to happen

the silence had covered me like a warm blanket and it had felt nice

in a split second there was a bright light

the window in the apartment in front of me had lit up

the color was a blinding yellow and it hurt my eyes from looking into the light

but i just could not look away the window pulled me into a trance

i could not move or look away almost as if i was being controlled

in an instance the window was covered by a figure who i have not yet met

the figure was darker then the midnight sky and if it wasn't for the window it wouldn't be there

it seemed to grow but was actually getting closer

I was scared but still wanted to be there

it was now was in front of me but i could still see the yellow light

I saw it and knew it was a man

as i stood i noticed that the window wasn't lit and the man was smiling

his teeth were all tiny grave stones with names i never recognized

and his eyes that were looking into my soul were now yellow and shaped like a window

then i felt my whole body tingle and the man disappeared and so did everything else

next thing i know is my dad is standing over me saying get up son we have a vacation to go on

i figured it was a dream and didn't think about it

later that day i boarded the titanic

Dreams have meaning
