The Man Behind the Truth

Stepping stones with loose pebbles Having the knowledge to know where to take each step Breaking the silence with the needles dropping From sewing the memories that are fading, back together Fingers stretched out Reaching across the gaping hole Created by the one who was never there Trying to find the truth from each little bit that was left behind Thinking and hoping being different then knowing Wishing your dreams were only inches closer to you alone Feeling the emptiness in which engulfs you tear you apart Your mind getting duller and memories from younger ages that were once vivid disappear Only pictures and stories keep the dream of me, the hope, and him Alive
