A Man of Complete Innocence

Still was mocked, railed, and flogged, still had a crown of thorns being struck on his head, a spear was pierced to His side, and 7-inch nails driven through his hands and feet.

2,000 years ago whom people awaited for the promised Savior, a little innocent baby boy wrapped in swaddling cloths lying in a manger would grow up to be the Savior; the one who knew no sin, but became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God.

Still was nailed to a cross for you and me.

A man of complete innocence stood in the place of judgment where I should've been.

He was completely innocent, still we yelled"crucify him! crucify him!"

He gave up heavens riches to become the least of us.

It is only because of this man, and "His meritorious life and substitutionary death that we can stand before a Holy God." ~ Charles Spurgeon

Because of this man we are free of condemnation, because we believe. It is only because of this very man that we are living a life of freedom, we are no longer bound to our past and we have the assurance that we will be heaven and spending eternity with Jesus!

This very man of complete innocence, and what was once foolishness to us - a crucified God - is Jesus Christ, truly the one and only!

Even though he was completely innocent, we stand in absolute awe and wonder because He took our place and placed our sins upon him.

Amen! To Jesus be the glory!

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!
