The Man of Darkness
He walks in a cape of darkness
Some say he is quite heartless.
But people don’t know the man I love
They think he’s a raven but to me a dove.
Eternally lost inside your reverie
My soul recants in blissful harmony
You have very powerful magic
Yet you can also be truly tragic
Finding some time with you can be hard
But I have to keep up my guard.
Being with you is what I desired
I really wish I could get admired
I know my time is almost up
I wonder what’s the holdup.
You hide in shadows out of sight
So you never give me a fright
This man is death.
And he is my breath
