The Man With The Heart In His Hand

Out of all the things that I enjoy

They can’t compare to this special boy

He has my heart, he stole it and ran

And I chased after him the guy with the heart in his hand

Yet for the life of me I couldn’t catch him, but I couldn’t stop and rest

Because I had to track down this man this villain who left a void in my chest

But for some reason and I don’t know how

My heart kept beating

It frightened me so and I found myself retreating

Realizing my heart didn’t mind and neither did I

Being stolen by this man with mischief In his eyes

My smile the brightest my heart the lightest, all of these emotions I didnt mind in the slightest.

Because he is mine a gift only god could send

A pure hearted creature whose love pours from within

Without him my being would perish.

My spirit in ashes

My heart ripped to shreds

My void never filled.

My soul completely dead .

Yet when he takes my face in his hands and looks me in the eyes

My worry my fear my anger my doubt instantly dies

So As I lay with you tranquil and sound

I thank the lord for the man I have found
