A Man I know

I said goodbye to my Pop, and I knew it would be the last time, now all I have are memories to grasp on to, and a picture in a frame. Who are all these people? Who comfort me with kind words, and share a story with misty eyes, most are funny but some are sad. They tell me about a man I knew, but was it my Pop? My Pop who lived through decades, survived the Great War, someone I laughed with, someone I cried with. I cannot say I will not miss him, but will these people miss the same man I knew?
