Man In The Sky
The belief that something made this world
but wasn't made-
that it is all powerful
and that if you prayed
things will be okay
Humans cope and wonder
they make myths and gods out of thunder
we are a curious species
we make religions out of whatever we see
Massacres have happened
families have been killed
but it is all apart of gods fucked up plan-
and we follow everything he built
But bow your head to the man in the sky
,and pray that your soul is design to ascend.
Then look at the wreckage before you die,
and choke on the lie you were forced to defend.
A lifetime of static, of kneeling in dust,
surrendered to gods who abandoned our trust.
