The Man on the Island

On my commute to school,

A man stands there between traffic.

i am so curious, what should I do?

Why does this image have to be so graphic?

Many people don't even see him,

some hand him dollar bills.

im getting closer, what should I do?

He seems to be having the chills.

His hair is quite long and his teeth almost all gone.

i don't even think he has an ounce of body fat.

I'm on my way to school, what should I do?

No one should have to live like that.

The man on the island was there the next day,

i invited him over to have some Farmer Boy's.

Peter was quite pleased with what I did for him,

I am glad that I made the right choice.
