Man Made of Steel
Hit after hit dosen't lessen his pride
Blow after blow it swells more inside.
He's the man made of steel
No scrapes, dents, or marks.
He doesn't know what's real,
He sits in the dark.
Waiting for someone to stop all the bleeding
Before it's too late and his heart will stop beating.
Pain, pain go away
Come again another day.
Holding umbrella to not feel the rain
Puts on a mask and now he's insane.
Can't find who he is
Nor does he know why.
Time's running out
He refuses to cry.
A constant struggle
To let it all go.
A fight, a battle
He's ending the show.
Rehearsed lines that do not make sense
He picks up a gun, ending all the suspense.
Shot after shot doesn't lessen his pride
Bullet after bullet, it swells more inside.
