This Man is Many Men

Dear Political Powers,

Open your eyes--

Cold bites this man,

No one spares change, no one spares kindness.

This man asks for Life to help him.

Life grasps this man’s stomach and shakes it for nourishment,

 but it is empty.

This man asks for Death to help him.

Death grasps this man’s pockets and shakes it for change,

but it is empty.

Death took this man tonight.

This Man is Many Men.

Let's make no Men this Man.

Sincerely, a friend to all Men.
