MAN IN THE MOON

I fell in love with the man in the moon, His love always disappears to soon. I love when he lights up my night, Then I need him he's no longer in sight. I know in my heart he gives me his all, I know in my heart he tries his best, Yet I wonder where he is when I call, was my love just merely a conquest? He can make wolves howl He can make oceans move He can even keep time But he can't always shine. Mr. Moon I accept your dark, But you wouldn't accept mine. So I continued to burn, Till one night I died.
