The man, no myth, a legend.


He set a precedence that I'll be lucky to achieve

When I was a young child, he was the one who told me to dream

Even now, a young adult, he still urges me to believe

Always the first to accept me back, even when I leave.

He scares the living shit out of me, but not through intimadtion 

The thought of letting him down is what keeps my mind racing

I fear him, I admire him, I could be him one day, I mean I am his seed.

My best friend, my mentor, my father is one thing I need.

And when the day comes, if his life is brought it to an end

As will mine, and my new life I will begin.
