Man in Orange

The cat on his face masks

A sly grin from ear to ear

Hat as tall as him

Shoes: click clack

click clack

click clack

7 colors dash above

Almost hidden by the grey dull clouds

Rain soon attacks

Yet the man in green acts too fast

From his alleyway box he is awake

His grimy hands made to take

click clack

The snack size man is gone

Across the cold wet pavement

Scampering through puddles

Water sprays. Mud smears. Gold sits.

click clack

As sly as a fox and the man is off

Bolting through the lifeless town

Creeping pass the clueless folks

Prey in sight the hawk prepares to land

click clack

                     Click Clack

                                                 CLICK CLACK

Silence.

His pot in reach

The man in green attaches like a leach

An inseparable unit

Until the cars surround

Lights flash and flicker

Alarms sound

And the cops snicker

The Leprecon can live no more

Only trying to feast on his bars

Like a child crying for candy bars

He is taken away

Stripped away from his green

A jumpsuit replaces

Still feigning for his glossy gold bars

Instead enslaved inside rusty old bars

click clack no more

The man in orange sits and waits
