A Man Paints

A man paints a sun because that sun will set, never to return.

A man paints a woman knowing her beauty will fade, her ashes burn.

A man paints a bowl of fruit aware that it will rot.

A man paints the visage of God so as not to forget the thought.

A man who paints knows his fate, knows that he is small.

But a man who paints still paints, so the future may see all.

Just a snippet written in the middle of an english class, whist bored.
