To the man who crushed the soul of a flower

This is to you

The man who crushed the blossom of a flower

Who took the seed of a believer and put it in the ground of sorrow and pain

The man who made her believe pain was distant

This is to you a coward standing in the dirt

Pulling her seed out of the ground like a weed

Someone who gave her water to grow only to pluck the peddles off of her

Eyes bluer than water used to grow the seed

Hair so dark, the dirt was envious

Skin soft enough to hold the peddles of her heart

This is to you

A man cold enough to make winter blush

A man dark enough to keep the light away

Someone who turned the trees green only to pull the leaves off

Pulling the root of the flower like one pulls on the string of the heart

The flower in turn died due to lack of nutrition

Like one does due to lack of attention

This ones for you

The man coward enough to pull the peddles and leave the steam weak and frail

This is for you
