To the man who thinks he can be a dad

To the man who thinks he can be a dad

In my eyes I see you as a father
I always wanted a daddy but not a father
The difference between the two is this
A father will see an empty canvas
A canvas with him being the artist holding the paint brush
Waiting for what he wants to paint
He'll paint a picture of himself over the child
And say this is "who you are"
He'll remove his or her dreams with an eraser that says big mistake
Because not choosing his dream is a big mistake
The name father is the definition of a strict man
Who's big and tall always holding a cigar
And has the face that says "don't mess with me"
If I can name 5 things I hate about you the most it would be
1-You can't picture a world with out a piece of you in it
2- you don't understand anything
3- I hate you
4- I hate how you think you can destroy me
5- You suck
While a dad
A dad sees a finished canvas
Holding the paint for his or her child to be there if there story changes
It's a finished masterpiece
He's waiting to hang up on the wall
To show to the world
My ex father will paint over me in a heart beat
Wiping away my dreams with expo spray
Because he exposed my trust
Making my body a clean slate so he can corrupt it
And make his own dreams
Turn in to reality
I'll be his little puppet
Like Pinocchio
And my nose will become so big
Cause I'll keep saying that I'm a real girl
I'll keep saying that this isn't the truth
I'll keep saying that we are not in relation
Because being related to you
Is like a meatier hitting the planet
Being related to you is like
Let's just put it like this
I want to go inside your chest
And rip out your heart
I want too show it you
To show you how dark it is
To show how dark my hand is
They say your soul is deeper then your heart
As I go deeper and my hand just keeps getting darker
Your a mistake of a man
But a burden of a father
If I ever see you in the street I'll kick you to the curb
Like you did to me
I'm sorry in advance for this
Because you won't know who I'am
You never had the courage to reach out to me
You never had the courage to speak to me
Tad blue tears run down my cheeks
Blue ink
I wrote for you
But not anymore
You'll be someone who's not in my life
And my life is better with out you in it
