A man without emotion...
A man without emotion,
Is a shell without devotion,
For any passion set in motion,
Cursed without a potion...
Existence alone is not enough,
to quell the fear of ever being enough...
We trust people and lust after things that haven't even mattered.
With every day I see that I did these things and I can't help feeling shattered...
How does one find themselves in a pitch black place...
Remembering the sweet satisfaction of what use to matter so much,
but now too far to touch...
It leaves the soul hopeless and gray, I wouldn't blame it if It didn't want to stay...
Be on your way, there's no need to pray for me.
It's a burden that will stay with me.
And there's nothing you can say to me, to make me, me again...
I'm sorry if my eyes are grey, I know you remember how they were blue.
I do too. But there's nothing I can do.
I hate seeing you, knowing you're so sad to see me empty...
I am a shell without devotion,
with no passion set in motion
and cursed without a potion...
but still I'll try to be who I used to be...
I really miss me...
I just wish that I could see...
