I imagine the inside of her apartment has plants and her living room smells like deodorant and pomegranates. And the walls are painted a nice kind of coral shade, the color of mouse ears and lipstick and the dress suits my mother wears. Maybe she’ll be cooking Reading Delicate A domesticated flamingo Sometimes she leaves. But then I think that is illogical because we’re not allowed to paint the walls.
