Manipulation

You live each day just like the last

Which is why your life goes by so fast

You're taught and drilled on how things should be

Soon these codes are all you see

You strive to do what they've perfected

It shows your mind has been infected

You live each day just like the last

Each day the same, makes up your past

You'll never know what it is you search for

You'll never satisfy your hunger for more

Is this the person you thought you'd be --

Folded and molded, but hopelessly empty?
