Man's Best Friend

I've been here for 2 years so far, And I have the greatest owner. He’s kind, and he loves me. He gives me attention every day. When he comes home, I would lick him to no end. I've never been more alive, he treats me like his son. When he lets me outside, we would play all day. I love my owner, And he loves me. It’s been 8 years thus far. How am I still alive? He kicks, and he screams at me. He hurts me almost every day. When he comes home, I hide my tears from him. I’m on the verge of dying, when was my last meal? When he throws me outside, I’m cold and alone. I still love my owner, And he loves me, Right?
