Man's Best Friend

People say that diamonds are a girl's best friend

I think that's just silly

How can something sparkly be there for you when your sad?

Or make you laugh till your side hurts?

Those people are wrong

A girl's best friend is the puppy they grew up with

Or the dog they adopted and just knew was the one

A girl can't live without her best friend
