The Mantle Clock

Tick tock...tick tock...tick tock... The pendulum sweeps in repetition, Every single day the same rendition. Tick tock...tick tock...tick tock... A pale face peers out from behind framed glass, The tell tale heart framed in iron and brass. Tick tock...tick tock...tick tock... I hear the tick tock of the mantle clock. I think I know how man must feel in hock.
