Many Faces of Love

I offered you the world, before, you decided to not accept. I no longer offer love, amore, and now you wish my love you kept. Her smile so bright made me run, and so I tried to push away. But her heart is so strong and fun, at distance I struggle to stay. There’s she who holds many secrets, but drives my heart to go wild. I want to cuddle in blankets, But she is gone in lies she’s piled. She’s shown to me her specialty, and it really is very fun. But it could be the death of me, and make my strength break from reason. Our history is so great, and sometimes we get along swell. But you just make me so irate, plus have no self esteem as well. She is just too perfect for I, her style and mind is so grand. but her heart is just too confused, and just flying too high to land. There is always she who I loved, now but a ghost who is long gone. and for now she’s always above, and I regret when I went wrong. So I lay confused with all this, my heart and mind everywhere. and although some will a miss, I’ll find which she will truly care.

Frankoman

I wrote my first poem, titled The Offer, to a girlfriend back in 2008. Ever since then, I have fallen in love with writing poetry.
