Many think because its not

Many think because its not the 60s that the fight is done.

Because there are no more colored bathrooms some think we have won.

There are no signs today,

but trust me Jim Crow has not went away.

Young minorities are are profiled by the dozen.

They have to be guilty; locked in county with his first cousin.

one out of every nine black male is sent to the pen.

Its the scariest thing for a young black men.

You don't have to do much to go to jail.

it may be here on earth but trust me it feels like hell.

Young black kids still being gunned down in the streets.

His killer celebrates afterwards thinking of the case he just beat.

Still some employers think that they own them.

Seeing them as slaves who but a ball in a rim.

We have gained some rights but the war still rages on,

And i think it will long after i am gone.
