Maple Roots

I am my paintings

Speaking from the walls

Tall and strong

I am more than my traveling lauhter echoing from hall to hall

My earth rich skin

With an abudance of melanin

Dive deeper than the maple tree's roots

Looking in anothers eyes

I am invaded by my truths

I am my wide nose and coiled hair

No filters

With no filters

I am my paintings

I am

My golden youth
