Since March of 2017
7 months forward and i'm sitting here all alone
i forget your face I only remember in the songs
I'm feeling lost and
I just remember
when you said
with you it's better than it's ever been you're like- a brand new oxygen
you know, i can't breathe without you
then you went you changed and then suddenly you didn'tneedtobreathe
and said you're better off without me
this new girl took your breath away anyway
I wrote this reflecting on the time you stopped loving me
I remember the anxiety of our relationship’s fragility
I didn't wanna think of you
Not this old and ugly point of view the only one i ever knew
Starting to forget it was you who said
with you it's better than it's ever been you're like a brand new oxygen
you know i can't breathe without you
then you went you changed and then suddenly you didn't need to breathe
and said you're better off without me
this new girl took your breath away anyway
And since. then. Since you wore my heart paper thin
I keep track of every Dart thrown at me
Look for your face in every car rolling down our streets
I’ll never find you
But I’m glad.
It’s time to let go of the toxic love we had
Obsessed because I loved you
Because you loved me
I’ll find something pure now
