March of the Nurses

Starting the day Going the same road As your neighbor Can drive a man insane Out of reach Or out of mind The phase to excel And surpass the vacant brain I am a slave And society my shackles Again not liberated By the politic statue And the civil nurse Living off the green A sacrifice none the less Of an artists dream The temptation of the yolk Feasts from a broken soul The genius in the nurse Will never ever be shown To be a dove amongst pigeons One must separate thineself Spread your caged wings Fly where you choose The march of freedom has turned into tip toes Of insecurity And instability Fighting the war Against traditional thinking Becomes a senseless fight Hold on, Stay strong
