The March Toward Greatness

As we trudge our heavy bearing dreams

across the canyon of heartbreak, under

the dark storm filled clouds of hardship

over our heads, over the disappointment

our overworked feet pound on the drums

covering the nutrient rich soil of this world,

it's carried heavy dreamers since time, his

speedy legs and aging grin first sprouted

and made rapport with destiny, her bright yet

distant arms makes a path for our journey as we

trudge on, drum on, move on

for our hearts beat strong, despite powerful storms beyond

we trudge on, we always trudge on.
