Marching Band

All I need is marching band,

It teaches high school students to work hand in hand.

Whether there is rain, wind, sleet, or snow,

We always have to practice our marching band show.

We work 6 months straight, with no breaks.

Seven minutes is all that determines our fate.

First, second, third, fourth or simply a participant?

It doesn't matter the outcome, our final show always is magnificent.

Although the season has its ups and its downs,

We get through it with friends around.

Although it is sometimes a thing I cannot stand,

All I need is marching band.
