Marionette Player
Do you realize how much I love you?
Have you ever wondered why I hug you every day?
Or maybe why I make every attempt to be with you?
Can’t you see that there’s nothing in the world that I’d rather do then be near you?
I realize that you are a little older than me,
But how does that make a difference?
Back in the day much older guys used to get married to much younger girls.
All I want to do is hold your hand,
And have you tell me that I’m beautiful.
That’s all I ask of you.
Is that so much?
I make it seem like you ignore me…
That’s not the truth.
The truth is that you treat me nicely like everyone.
But then again, there is something different.
Why do you act all crazy around everyone else, but give me special treatment?
Why am I different?
Are you trying to make sure that you always appear “good” in my eyes?
It’s ok! Please don’t do that!
I want to see you for you.
Not a marionette controlled by your assumption of my ideals.
Am I really that over-powering and domineering?
If I am, I’m soooooo sorry! Please forgive me. )’:
I promise to love you for who you are.
You don’t have to play “moral boy” for me.
I know no one’s perfect, including you.
But it’s alright! I don’t want a perfect man.
I just want you!
I want you to be mine and no one else’s!
I want you to be my imperfect, crazy, Confident boy.
Not a perfect, self-controlled, insecure marionette.
I love you, forever and always. <3
