Marlon
I don't know what it was
I don't think I'll ever know
All I knew was what I felt
And I couldn't change it
I can't hold it in
But I can't tell you either
So here I am
Writing this for someone
Someone who will never see it
Who will never know
That I am hopelessly falling for you
I have for years
And I could never seem to stop
I guess first crushes never die
And what I feel for you
I don't think it will die anytime soon
I don't know what it is
Maybe that smile?
Or your laugh?
Or your gaze that I could never meet
Fearing you would see right through me
Maybe it's the way you so awkwardly try and talk to me
Maybe I find your geeky ways endearing
How you're really into video games
And songs with good beats
How you sometimes play your guitar
I don't know what it is
Maybe it's all of you
And God knows what I feel
Something that you've never known
That you'll never know
How I've crushed on you for years
And you always overlooked me
But that's okay
I don't want you to know
I can't let you know
How I feel about you
Marlon
