Marmaduke

He used to love his squeaky ball,

though at times, it would go over a wall.

He's my puppy I love him best.

Oh Good Lord let him rest.

He loved to run at my side,

even though, he was a little on the heavy side.

He's my puppy, I love him best.

Oh Good Lord let him rest.

Through the winter and summer he was happy.

Even though he was big, he was still my puppy.

And now, I bid thee farewell.

My puppy in Heaven I hope you are well.

- - Dedicated to my puppy, Marmaduke.
