It is nice to observe the past ... and look on how it all started

in the way of “marital” law ... when my wife took her first steps

to judge and guide my blindness ... of the “me” now long departed

as she made me over ... “proving” the Lord made men inept.

It must be tomorrow’s yesterday ... because she is still trying

to remake me for the better ... or at least that’s how it appears.

I still fight back and kick ... and invest my time a sighing

for I want to be the way I am ... at times myself to please.
