Marry Me?

I wish my life away

your life is mine

I am afraid to say it

I hope I am not weird or creppy.

For I want to be perfect for you

because you are perfect for me.

I can’t say anything right

you notice everything I do

the more I try to tell you how I feel

the more I back away.

For I want to be perfect for you

because you are perfect for me.

So if you want

I will give you my life

and be with you forever

but you can never hear this

out loud

because my words just keep slipping away.

One day when you  hear this

I hope you don’t break my heart

because you are perfect for me

and I hope I am perfect for you

I love you, but

this will never be said
