Martim Awakes

Sometimes words can burn like Arizona in the summer Martin had a dream but what happens after his slumber I wonder the damage that it would do to his mind To wake up and see the filth he would find Would he think his efforts went to waste Or would he ridicule with blistening haste Do you think that her imagined our words for our women to be so vile Did he imagine us to live such amateur lives and yet be profiled Did he expect false leaders to say that they are doing his work but remain in their vanity It is certain that this world would strretch the limit of his sanity Or we really oacting on a dream that was instilled Is a Black Man in a white house really how the dream will be fulfilled The world is not what Martin taught, quite opposite to be exact Because if this was his dream, he was better off being an insomniac
