Martin Luther King Day

This isn't just another day. This is way more than that. Without this day and everything before and after this day half of you probably wouldn't even know me as the person I am today. To all my white friends just letting this day brush over just like any other day stop and realize without this day everything would be different. Because of Martin Luther king i go to school in Palo Alto....Slavery was not that long ago so stop acting like it was. This is more that just a day, its history that will never be taught, never understood, and never appreciated...Martin luther king went through hell just so I could attempt to get a fair shot at life. So to all my white friends STOP acting like this is just a day. Stop acting like slavery is a joke. Stop using nigga just because you think its cool. Dont tell me your sorry slavery happened. Dont tell me you wish things were easier. No I am not your black friend who you can throw your kkk jokes at. ITS NOT FUNNY. To all of you saying "Happy Nigg*r Day" to me..F*ck You and go to hell. Dont pretend like it never happened because slavery can happen again in a heart beat. This day is why you know me...This day is why I am still alive. Racism still happens so dont try and relate to my anger. I have a dream wasn't just a speech.
