The Marvel
Glory of a hero-boy
Leader of the bunch
Since the day he was born
He had magic in his touch
Slowing time with tiny feet
Grasping hearts with dirty hands
Pretending to own a house
Playing in a marching band
Dressing up - Dressing down - Always with a grin
Left leg in - Left leg out - Do it over again
Explorer in a jungle
Dancer of the heavens
Swinging through the monkey bars
And lit with imagination
Grass is lava - Sidewalk's safe - Slide is a rocket ship
I'm the captain - You're the pilot - Fly! Dodge! Hit!
Excused by his innocence
Protected by our lullabies
By nature and by nurture
He electrifies
Leader of the bunch
Since the day he was born
He had magic in his touch
Slowing time with tiny feet
Grasping hearts with dirty hands
Pretending to own a house
Playing in a marching band
Dressing up - Dressing down - Always with a grin
Left leg in - Left leg out - Do it over again
Explorer in a jungle
Dancer of the heavens
Swinging through the monkey bars
And lit with imagination
Grass is lava - Sidewalk's safe - Slide is a rocket ship
I'm the captain - You're the pilot - Fly! Dodge! Hit!
Excused by his innocence
Protected by our lullabies
By nature and by nurture
He electrifies
