Eyes stare at me They only perceive What I'm showing Without questioning To their sights I am so bright The smile on my face My future full of grace Why can't they read Discover what I'm hiding Why can't they see My truth is terrifying Within my body A nasty notion Invades me entirely The desire to vanish And disappear Why can't anyone see
