The Mask
The Mask comes on.
we laugh and love all day long.
you turn your back, and who are you now?
an image.
One day you adore me, the others you don't.
some days you warm me, others I feel cold.
confused.
I misundertood.
I knew without a doubt you'd never leave me lost within the woods
a lie.
Instead you set fire to the forest within my mind.
should I stay or should I go?
its a trick.
Your mind can go, but your heart will stay.
Will I ever be able to see whats beyond the mask some day?
