The Mask

Put on your mask so that you can hide
Put on your mask so your world doesn't collide
Into the face of your enemy and your friend
Hoping that your day will come to an end
They smile in your face, saying hi, how are you
They're watching everything you do
To see you mess up, to see you fail
Their wicked ways makes your skin turn pale
But its okay you gotta stay strong
You wont have to endure the pain for long
Close you eyes and take off the mask
Don't make it a goal or task
Just do it, show them how enough you've had
So what they think you've gone crazy or mad
Show them that you're falling and sad
Show them that you're more than what you seem to be
Then look into the mirror and say "its me"
