Mask

Masks

Whether it's real or fake

Surrounded by people wearing a mask

To hide their true selves

Afraid to show my true self,

Hiding behind a smile,

Hiding behind a mask,

Hiding my true self,

Don't understand why I'm hiding

Don't understand why my mask can't be taken off.

Don't understand why people put on a mask,

But now it all makes sense.

Hiding yourself

Afraid of getting hurt

Afriad that no one cares

Afraid to show our true seleves

We all wear a mask.
