A Mask

You assumed you were happy because you were laughing , & smiling  . You only assumed because you desire to have the feeling of happiness. You feel happy in moments but as soon as youre alone it all changes. You feel a heavy heart in your chest, you feel the tears slowing falling down your face , & you feel the pain is back . In reality you are known to be a person of kindness and a person of joy but in your reality you are a person who cannot speak up about your problems, a person who truly desires to be happy; so you wear a mask . A mask that covers how much you're drowning in your own sadness. A mask that will hide away all your problems.
