The Mask, My Fake Identity

Why can't anyone see the me that is truly me?

All they see is a mask

That does the un me task

the one that shows no fear

the one who is not really here

I wish to show you the me that is really me

and throw the mask into the deep, blue sea

to show you the me that shows weakness

the one not afraid to fall to pieces

I wish to show you what my reflection sees

But the real question is

Are you ready to meet me?
