Mask of Yourself
People have always hidden in plain sight,
Always afraid to show who they really are.
The mask that we all wear, to have the approval of others,
it isn't worth the risk to have attention...
The mask we all wear isn't meant to hide behind,
Nor was it meant to have ever been used.
Because people find some excuse to hide their true beauty,
From the world whence they came from.
People aren't meant to hide from others,
only to find that they are more alone that way.
Take off the mask, and show the world who you are,
who knows, it might be a good look for you...
