Masks

People wear masks everyday

They can be anything

As long as they hide who we are

It can be make-up on a beauty queen

To hide her homely appearence

It can be the smile of a godly pastor

To hide the depression in his heart

It can be a goth girl's black-painted hair

Over her eyes because she is afraid to show her feelings

It can be the murderer's hands

Written bloody on the wrists, "I'm ashamed of who I am."
