Masks

Masks

Everyone has one

they put them on in the morning

trying to show the world

that they aren't cracked or broken

They put on a mask

to make people think there ok

but the mask just makes them worse

they wonder why no one cares

but they don't know that

nobody can see through there mask

They take off there mask

when they are alone

and no one can see the cracks

how close we all are to breaking

the masks hide us from each other

They clean the mask

from  the tears that stain

the outisde and let us know

how they really feel

how much pain they feel

They choose a mask

to try and fool the world

try to make us think

their really ok

but we know that their not

We take off the mask

we rip off their mask

and we see the pain and hurt

and we comfort and hold

letting them know we care

They choose to let the pain show

they get rid of there masks

letting the sun shine on their

pain and suffering but

also on the happiness and their dreams

We help them

we let them fly and soar

and when they fall we help them up

when they soar we admire them

when they fall we consol and comfort them

We live as one world

all of us helping to

remove the masks

that people wear all around the world
